A big thank you to Karen Nave for sharing this intimate picture of her life with Parkinson's. In these brief poems she finds the right word, the prefect turn of a phrase, to reveal the day-to-day struggles and simple victories on this journey. Others with this disease and their caregivers will readily identify and the rest of us grow in our understanding through this book.
Living with someone with Parkinson's who won't talk much about it, I found this book very helpful. I am a big fan of Haiku and of Karen. She brought me to tears at times. Thanks, Karen!
